The Colts traded down from pick No. 3 to No. 6, gained some future selections, and took Notre Dame guard Quenton Nelson in the first round. Nelson is considered one of the safest bets in the entire draft and fills a gaping hole on the Colts’ offensive line, which was abysmal last season. Indianapolis also nabbed another guard in round two, Braden Smith of Auburn, and the “@Colts” Twitter handle earned an 85 percent positive score on Social over the past three days. Out of the remaining teams that got high marks from various NFL experts, the Arizona Cardinals were the next best on Twitter, finishing with an 83 percent score on the strength of the 10th overall pick, quarterback Josh Rosen of UCLA. That score is identical to that of the New York Giants, which opted for a different strategy by selecting running back Saquon Barkley at No. 2 rather than grabbing a quarterback. The Denver Broncos, close behind at 82 percent positive, were lauded for taking pass rusher Bradley Chubb at No. 5. Dipping into the 70s, the Atlanta Falcons pulled a 78 percent positive score, just ahead of the Baltimore Ravens (76 percent positive) and Chicago Bears (75 percent positive). In Twitter’s opinion, the worst of the best were the Green Bay Packers: The club secured a 2019 first round pick from the New Orleans Saints but was fairly ho-hum in their 2018 choices. That’s reflected in a 68 percent positive score. –Alex Shultz
